The economic collapse has knocked hard and fast against many of the underpinnings of the middle class: homeownership, education, healthcare, employment and retirement, and against the economy of northeast Ohio in general. This site is a service of WKSU public radio, the Akron Beacon Journal and The Center for Community Solutions. It's devoted to examining the challenge to personal and regional economies, and connecting you and others in the discussion of solutions.
